About Me
My name is Cory Hoover and I have lived in Southern California my entire life. I have always been interested in computers since about third grade when my family purchased our first desktop. Since then, I have upgrade several times and work mostly off my laptop computer.
I learned some of what I know about computers in middle school at Chet F. Harritt in Santee, CA; some of which I was taught, but most of which I self-taught being a curious and very independent student. It wasn't until high school at West Hills that I began to expand my knowledge and understanding about how the computer worked. I started taking classes applications, keyboarding, web design, computer repair, and others. After graduation, many people believed I would go straight to a univsersity; but instead, I went to a local community college. With flexible schedules and more inexpensive classes, I decided I would slowly work on my higher education while I also took on two part time jobs.
The first one is a collision repair company in East County San Diego. There, I became an Accountant, Sales Representative, and eventually the Web Developer. The second job, a Computer Technician, is an interesting one. I become the Computer Technician, Web Developer, Network Specialist, Program Specialist, and even an assistant to the company's Administrative Assitant.
Between these two companies, I have gained experience in many aspects of running a business as well as experimenting with how HTML and Javascript can be used to help organize an office as well as to create websites.
